Tips for look Shorter

How to look shorter if you are tall some tips :

Though there's nothing you can do to physically change your height, but if you're a tall  who wants to look shorter, there are a few easy tips that can change your look. If you're tired of towering over all of your friends, follow these steps to make your height less noticeable.

While it’s true that many crossdressers and transgender women are taller than the “average” female, who cares?

Tall women are HOT!

Here are some easy tips you can follow :

1) Don't slouch.

Though slouching will literally make you look shorter, it will call attention to the fact that you're not proud of your height, trying to lower yourself to the level of shorter people, and that you're willing to sacrifice good posture for the sake of fitting in.

Slouching will not only make you look older, but it's bad for your back and spine. Just don't do it.

2) Choose the right and best Hair Style .

Your hair can have a big impact on how tall you look. The right haircut can make you look significantly shorter. Here's what you can do:

  • Avoid hairstyles with a lot of volume at the crown as this literally adds inches to your stature.
  • Avoid wearing your hair too long since this tends to make you look even taller. Generally speaking, shoulder length hair is most flattering.
  • Try a layered or wavy hairstyle with volume along the sides of the face. (Again, think horizontally instead of vertically.)
  • Avoid hair-bumps or wearing your hair halfway up. Snooki's hair poof makes her look a lot taller, and if you have one, so will you. Layer your hair, especially if it's long. Long hair that is all one length will make you look very tall.

3) Wear the right Dress.

  • DO choose full skirts and dresses to draw the eye horizontally instead of vertically. (More width = less height.)
  • DON’T wear super tight clothes. (Less width = more height.)
  • DO wear a different color top and bottom to visually break up your figure.
  • DON’T wear monochromatic outfits; this makes you look even taller.
  • DO wear a contrasting belt to interrupt the eye from going straight up and down a long torso.

If you want to look shorter, you should work to make your legs look shorter, and a longer top or jacket can accomplish that. Here's what you can wear:

4) Wear the right shoes.

Obviously the easiest way to look shorter is to not wear incredibly high heels, but there are some other things you can do with your shoes to look shorter:

  • Wear flats when you can. Generally, wearing flats will keep you from looking too tall. But if you're at a formal event or an occasion where everyone is really dressed up and wearing heels, you will stick out more if you don't wear heels.
  • Wear shoes with round toes instead of pointed shoes. This will make your feet look smaller.
  • Wear shoes with a strap over the instep. This will make your leg look shorter.
  • Shoes with a strap around your ankle will make you look shorter. This trick works especially well if you have to wear heels for an event.

5) Position yourself correctly.

Whether you're at a party or at a bar, there are a few things you can do to make sure people aren't paying too much attention to how tall you are. This may take some strategizing but it will pay off.

  • Stand around other taller people. Though you shouldn't avoid talking to short people because of your height, if you're in a group of people, try standing near the taller ones to not call as much attention to your height.
  • Sit when you can. If some people are sitting while others are standing, you can hang out with the sitting people. Don't sit if it makes you look socially awkward or like a wallflower, but if a lot of people are doing it, go for it. Or if you're talking to people at a bar and they are standing, casually sit on a stool to talk to them.
  • Stand on less-elevated platforms. If someone is talking to you near the bottom of the stairs, take an extra step down. If someone is talking to you from a porch, stand on one of the lower porch steps. If you're on bleachers at a sporting event and people are standing, stand an extra half-step down.

6)Avoid a monochromatic look.

To look shorter, you'll need to have a contrast between your top and your bottom. If you wear all one color then you will look like even taller than usual. Here are some ways to avoid a monochromatic look:
  • Make sure your top is a different color from your bottom.
  • Wear a patterned top or bottom to add more variety to your outfit.
  • Wear a contrasting belt.
